The IBCLC flash card study cards are good for the following reasons.
Thoroughly presented and detailed.
Good topic headlines in relation to the topic.
Small print for my tastes.
Reasonably priced.
The flash cards are very helpful because they are labeled so you can go to the areas that you are the weakest and study.They are also easy to carry around with you so you can study anywhere. Judy
I find it very beneficial and helpful studying for the exam. It would have been helpful for the cards to be cut and in a box. It also can be thicker paper. But I still love it.
I have to retake the exam inJuly this year. These helped me realize I know more than I thought Idid. Not as worried about taking the exam.
The cardstock could have been thicker so they would be more durable. It would have also been nice to have titles/categories more specific as I separated them into envelopes based on more detailed topics. I would also like to see more pictures since that is a significant portion of the IBLCE exam.
The copyright and website on every single card is a bit much, but otherwise so far - will definitely be helpful in my studies for the exam. Also, would be nice if they were printed on a thicker paper, but not really necessary.
I haven't been through all of them yet but just by reviewing one or two they are perfect in size and are very detailed. Divided into different categories. Nutrition, infant ages, etc.
